Meet Betty

I’m Betty Lochner, owner of Cornerstone Coaching & Training.  I’ve helped hundreds of groups – large and small and across all levels of management –  learn more effective ways to communicate for better results.

I specialize in performance coaching, interpersonal skills, leadership training, conflict strategies and using appreciation and gratitude as a powerful communication tool.  Your team will see results in productivity and get a good morale boost as you explore common goals and expectations together. I can help you get results through clear, confident and open communication.

Here’s a little bit about my background:

I am an experienced professional who specializes in personal and organizational transformation. I have developed, administered, and improved programs and provided leadership and communication skills training to agencies and organizations for over 25 years.

I earned my B.A. in Communication and M.Ed. from Western Washington University, and I am a graduate of the Cascade Public Executive Program from the University of Washington. I am also a professionally certified trainer in Performance Coaching.

I am the author of Dancing with Strangers: Communication skills for transforming your life at work and at home.  I also write a weekly blog on communication skills.

I work with individuals, work groups, and community groups to  help in moving from where you are — to where you want to be.

This year, I am launching my first online course titled: Simple Steps for Effective Communication.  It is packed with information from my live events in a self-paced course that includes webinars, exercises, and a participant forum.  The introductory price is just $97.  The materials in this course are equal to a that of a full day workshop.
