Below I outline the various types of speaking and training that I’m most experienced and passionate about. My speaking fees range from $200 to $3,000, depending on complexity, duration and proximity of the event.

SPEAKER BIO

Betty Lochner is passionate about transforming lives through improving communication skills.  She is a communication expert and experienced professional who specializes in personal and organizational transformation. She has developed, administered, and improved programs and provided leadership and to agencies and organizations for over 25 years. She understands the struggles and challenges that come with today’s economy and workforce.

Betty is the author of Dancing with Strangers: Communication skills for transforming your life at work and home. The book was written as a handbook to use to strengthen relationships by improving communication skills.  It was self published in January 2010 and is closing in on 500 copies sold, totally organically. It is only sold in independent bookstores, at local small businesses (in Olympia, WA) at her workshops and on her web site.

Her down to earth style, humor and ability to communicate with audiences make her presentations truly outstanding. Betty’s inspirational messages are frequently requested for conferences and events nationwide.

Betty graduated from Western Washington University with a B.A. in Communication and holds a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration. She is a graduate of the Cascade Public Executive Program from the University of Washington. She is also a professionally certified trainer in Performance Coaching and the Interact Personal Strengths Profile.
